Member interest groups

Interest groups provide a format for members to come together under the IDSA umbrella to support member interests and careers in infectious diseases. Interest groups exist outside of the formal governance structure of IDSA and are initiated, and operated by, members. The activities and goals of the interest groups are not set by IDSA leadership, and they do not utilize organizational resources and staff time as governance entities do. IDSA supports interest groups in getting started, recruiting and maintaining a list of participants.
